The Taher Chef Council consists of six executive chefs who travel around the world as a team in order to stay on the cutting edge of the culinary field. Recent destinations include Italy, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, Thailand, Istanbul, France, and Spain. After each trip, members of the council visit Taher's sites, implementing their discoveries in display cooking sessions and helping site staff create fresh menu items.
Taher's Food 4 Life initiative represents our commitment, in every stage of our operations, to promote our customers' healthy diet choices.
We purchase as many products as possible; more and more every year from local farms and organic producers. Our experienced dietitians shape our menus according to the most progressive nutritional knowledge. Taher is the first food service management company in the nation to commit to a total elimination of trans fats from our menu.
We cook from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients. We partner with farmers and growers who are committed to sustainable practices and humane standards. Our licensed dietitians stay current on advancements in nutritional knowledge, and continuously weave these into our menus like the addition of more whole grains, and the complete phasing out of all trans fats.
So come and see us, we are located in the cafeteria on the 3rd floor above College Center, or down on the main level by Health Services

My favorite food is panagranits. It is a food from Israel. It looks like a red onion on the outside but when you open it up it looks like bits of corn. You eat the juicey seads that taste a bit like grapes and red wine
I like to make food too. At home I make panacookins which is an oven pancake it turns into a bubble and I try to serve it before it goes flat.
I have worked in a Deli and a bakery so I know a lot about making food.
My first memory of making food was with my grandmother. She was trying to explain to me how to make a portion size. But she was making a feast for all. She would say a pinch of salt and take a handful. and a cup of flour while pouring a bag in. It is one of my favorite memories
My favorite foods are Chinese and Pizza. I like Godfathers and Great China. My family likes to make thier pizzas from scratch at home but for me it just isn't the same. I like to make them together as a family but it never seems to taste the same as when you go out.
